Katie Castellanos

Mrs. Katie is a graduate of Texas A&M University-Kingsville.  She majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology and Art.  Ms. Katie worked as a juvenile probation officer right after college and discovered her love for working with children.  Soon after, she returned to school to get her bilingual teaching certification in early childhood.  Ms. Katie taught for 11 years at Travis Elementary.  During those years she taught 1^st grade, 2^nd grade, and Pre-Kindergarten.  After much planning and research, she pursued her lifelong dream of owning and directing her own preschool.  “The mission of this school is to incorporate everything I was looking for in a preschool as a parent, such as cleanliness, safety, and security and pairing that with a high quality, education-based program. As a teacher, I know those things are important for long term academic success.”  Ms. Katie is married to Eli and has three children of her own; Luke, Jay, and Clarissa.
